Every personality is split into two halves. The beast - we are all born as one.  The more educated, mature and civil we become, the stronger the cage around the beast is built. The human - controller of the personality, and the half that keeps the cage closed.  A stronger human does a better job at keeping the beast in the cage, hence the saying 'real strength comes from within'. When we swear, we prove that we are too uneducated to express ourselves properly. When we sexually taunt, we prove that we are too immature to be classified as adults. When we threaten we prove that we are too primitive to settle arguments in a civilised fashion
